Green Thumb | 22" x 32" | monkscloth - $35.00 | linen - $48.00
This one makes gardeners happy, with it's border of tools and related items. Lots of fun here!

Pumpkin Farm | 21" x 28" | monkscloth - $31.00 | linen - $43.00
This was designed by Melody Hoopes and hooked by Karen Detrick. It's fun to have the pumpkin as the frame!
The beautiful "Pumpkin Farm" to the right, nicely (and quickly!) done by Angie Rowland. We started this at a Baltimore workshop in the spring, and the next time i saw her in mid summer, it was in the Caraway camp rug show. I love the variety in the grass.

Trick or Treat | 14" x 26" | monkscloth - $24.00 | linen - $33.00
Brings back memories of those uncomfortable masks with tight elastic, and homemade costumes!

Christmas This and That | 20" x 36" | monkscloth - $35.00 | linen - $48.00
Janet Frew, a longtime student here, hooked this cheerful "leftover" rug.

Santa Quilt or Snowman Quilt | 14" x 21" | monkscloth - $19.00 | linen - $25.00
These two are now mounted on foam board and come out during the Christmas season as a lean-against-the wall decoration.
Very folk arty, they look good in country decor homes!

Susan's Angel Gloria | 14" x 21" | monkscloth - $19.00 | linen - $25.00
When I was teaching at "Show Me" camp, two students named Susan and Gloria both had the same idea: They asked me to design a third Christmas Quilt to go with the Snowman and Santa Quilts...so they could make firescreens out of the trio! Very creative ladies. . so both their names are on the pattern.

Holy Night | 14" x 38" | monkscloth - $27.00 | linen - $37.00
A very popular Christmas wall hanging. You can incorporate metallic thread or yarn for the star and wise men if you like.

Angels on High | 16" x 30" | monkscloth - $27.00 | linen - $37.00
Another piece that looks great in a folk art/country decor home. This was hooked by Lynnette Larson.

Cat and Snowman | 16" x 30" | monkscloth - $27.00 | linen - $37.00
A fun rug to do! The one in the middle was hooked by Connie Pratt. Love the sunset. The one on the right was hooked by Susi Seyllor, nicely done; and the one on the left has a nice little braided edge around it.

Christmas Stockings | monkscloth - $14.00 | linen - $19.00
These can be quickly hooked up using leftovers. I think it takes longer to sew them!

Ornaments (16 different patterns) | monkscloth - $19.00 | linen - $25.00
These can be simply hooked, or try adding trimmings such as metallic thread, sequins, or Illusion. I prefer linen over monks for these as there are less threads to deal with when finishing them off.

Holly Stocking | 12" x 18" | monkscloth - $11.50 | linen - $16.00
This would also be fun to decorate with trimmings!

Woodland Stocking | monkscloth - $14.00 | linen - $19.00
Marge Szaroleta really enjoyed the variety on this stocking for the outdoorsman in her life. We used lots of bits and pieces to create distance; from the fox hiding in the brush, the duck in the pond, to the deer in front of the distant hills.

Sleigh Ride | 24" x 29" | monkscloth - $35.00 | linen - $48.00
Ann Tuttle's Sleigh Ride (the top one) looks like a victorian postcard. The middle one is a particularly attractive Sleigh ride...I love the two-tone gold background! The bottom one was hooked by Louise Gleason, a talented student here. She also made it into Celebrations in 2006.

Good Night Santa | 23" round | monkscloth - $31.00 | linen - $43.00
An easily done Christmas rug. . .and one to learn to hook a face on, as well!
